UMaine Nursing Students Volunteering to help Belize

Some nursing students of UMaine are giving up their spring break and volunteering to help the under privileged people in Belize.

A dozen UMaine Nursing students are giving up their Spring Break and giving back to the people of Belize.

The students will be volunteering in local hospitals and health clinics to help the under privileged people of the Central American country.

Along with their expertise, the group will also be bringing along hundreds of pounds of medical supplies, including syringes, disinfectants, and bandages.

The group will be gone 9 nine days.
