Question of the Day: How Can Milan Defeat FC Barcelona in the Camp Nou?

If you are following the UEFA Champions League this year, then you must know about the monstrous game that is heading our way today -- FC Barcelona vs AC Milan. I don't follow any of these two teams but I appreciate their collaboration to the world of football. Both teams are important to the sport and provide us with some of the most interesting tactics of how the game should be played.

Whenever top quality teams like FC Barcelona and AC Milan clash anything is expected. Milan must defend their honor and Barcelona must defend their title.

In games like these, I expect to see all sorts of tricks being pulled out from both sides. Barcelona are heavy favourites in this one because they are playing at home and they hold one of the best home records that any teams has acquired in these times around. Let's say it is almost impossible that Milan score more than two goals in the Camp Nou. But one goal is enough as long as they manage to stop the heavy traffic of the blaugranas. In any case, Milan can concede a goal -- but nothing more than that. Remember that the first leg was a tie of zero to zero goals -- a tie with goals in the Camp Nou will kick the current champions out of the competition because of the away goals.

Now you might be asking how can Milan score in the Camp Nou? Well it is not going to be an easy task but it is also not impossible! From my analysis Barca has been poor defensively, as of lately, and Milan must take advantage of that. Even worst, Barcelona has lost the unexceptional Abidal, due to health problems, and I don't see any player that can play in that position the way he does. Milan needs to alternately attack on the wings and on the centre and provide the magician, Ibrahimovic, plenty of balls at the top. Barcelona is not a perfect team and they will give you chances and that is where Milan must capitalize.

Watchout for Messi! That pulga is always hungry for plenty of goals. Let's not forget that Messi is also the current goal scorer of the UEFA Champions League with 12 goals along with Bayern Munich striker, Mario Gomez. So Milan must be very tight at the back and not allow any mistakes just like they did in the first leg. I wish both teams good luck and may the best team win.
